Burnout Isn’t Just in Your Head—It’s in Your Whole Body

Hey love, be honest—have you been dragging yourself through the week, surviving on caffeine and stubbornness? 😩 You’re not alone. Burnout isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a real, sneaky little gremlin that creeps in when we’ve been running on empty for too long.

Let’s talk about it, because sometimes we don’t even realize we’re burning out until we’re already crispy. Here are 5 signsyou might be burning out (and yes, nodding along to these is a red flag and a half):

1. You’re always tired—even when you sleep.

It’s like your bed is a black hole that swallows you whole but forgets to recharge you. If 8 hours of sleep still leaves you feeling like you ran a marathon in your dreams, your body might be waving a little white flag.

2. Everything is annoying.

That one coworker who breathes too loud? Suddenly unbearable. The slow driver in front of you? Rage-inducing. Burnout makes your patience pack its bags and go on vacation without you.

3. Your motivation ghosted you.

Even stuff you used to love feels like a chore. Hobbies? Meh. Plans with friends? Exhausting. You might find yourself asking, “When did I stop caring about things?” (Answer: probably around burnout level 3.)

4. Your brain is on dial-up.

You’re staring at the same sentence for 10 minutes. You walk into a room and forget why. You’re halfway through your sentence and—wait, what were we talking about again?

5. Your body is staging a protest.

Aches, tension, headaches, weird stomach stuff—your body’s way of saying, “I’ve had enough, thanks.” Burnout doesn’t just live in your mind—it takes up real estate in your body, too.

So... What Now?

If you saw yourself in any of those signs, it’s time to pause, breathe, and recalibrate. Burnout doesn’t go away because you pushed harder—it goes away because you gave yourself what you actually need:

💛 Rest.💛 Joy.💛 Boundaries.💛 Grace.

And maybe a nap. Or three.

Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup—and even superheroes need a break sometimes. So cancel that thing you don’t really want to do, take a walk, drink some water, and be ridiculously kind to yourself today.

You’ve got this. And we’ve got you. 💫
